"What really matters is that he will love you, that he will respect you, that he will honor you, that he will be absolutely true to you, that he will give you the freedom of expression and let you fly in the development of your own talents. He is not going to be perfect, but if he is kind and thoughtful, if he knows how to work and earn a living, if he is honest and full of faith, the chances are you will not go wrong, that you will be immensely happy"

last week was my spring break and i did some pretty fun things...

my sister got married, for instance! she was absolutely beautiful and i cried a little bit.

and i worked on tuesday until midnight...then drove to salt lake, right after, to stay the night because richard was taking me snowboarding in the morning! how nice of him!

so we woke up real early and he made some delish hocho, and we drove up to the canyons where we met trevor and richard's sister, melissa.

trevor and i boarded; melissa and richard skied.

this picture was taken before i really understood how to snowboard. that is obvious.

but after that, i figured it out and it was so fun! and reallyreally hard. but way easier than it was before i figured it out....what a paradox.

after that, richard and i drove up to midway where we met trevor and his wife aimee for dinner! then we went and stayed at their cabin. it was very fun. and i didn't get any pictures of that which is sad. except for the next morning we went on a ranger ride up the mountain and i DID get a picture of that.

it was beautiful up there.
i love fresh air.

after that, richard took me to this mexican place where he used to go all the time when he was younger (so much mexican food, so little time!) anyways, they had the best salsa eveeeer.

and then i got the most monstrous nose bleed of my whole life. i felt so bad because i didn't have my phone on me and i was in there for like twenty minutes and richard had thought that i died or something, i don't know.

it was a great week! i spent some time with my aunt, and also my previous post was during spring break, so that happened too...i'm just having the best time in life right now! school isn't too bad + it's almost over! AND it's almost my birthday.(:

soo...my very very good friends bekah j got engaged the other week! a group of us girls from back home. (steph, beks, kacy, and myself) had been planning for a girls night last friday for quite some time but when we got news of her engagement, we decided to make it a little celebration party for her!

first we went to pizzeria limone!
it was so delish.
they have pizza with fruit on it!

after that, we drove over to ninth and ninth (one of my favourite places ever from when i lived in dlc) and walked around and looked at shops and such.

then we headed over to the holiday inn & suites where i had a free room for all of us!

we had the best time...we went hot tubbing/swimming...we toasted to life and love!

and the best thing ever ever ever happened!!!!

then of course we did girly things like talked about boys, and painted our nails, and did facials!

it was just the best and so many fun memories were made.
"Come on out, RICHARD!"

and bekah should just be so grateful that I took a ton of really great pictures of her, but didn't post any on here.(;

and i finally got to meet the fiancĂ©! he DOES exist!

love my friends.<3

let's go, G.N.O.

today i thought about how lucky i am to have lived the life that i have already lived.
i have been able to do SO many incredible things...
make so many incredible memories...
meet so many incredible people...

not only was i thinking about how lucky i am for that, but how lucky am i that i get to KEEP experiencing new things?! like as amazing as this is, it isn't even the end. not even close.

nah, man.

there are so many experiences that i haven't had yet.

i haven't graduated college!

i haven't eaten at a five star restaurant.

i haven't been outside of the country.

i haven't ridden a bike along the ocean.

i haven't promised my whole life and heart away to a man that i love by creating a sacred, new family through marriage.

i haven't held my babies in my arms.

i haven't cried because i'm an awful cook and didn't know what i was thinking trying to be a young wife/mother.

i haven't become the best me that i'm going to be someday...

but there are a lot of things that i have done.

i have been born!

i received an education!

i have tried new things and loved them.

i've been to the happiest place on earth

i've made a life-long friend that has molded me into who i am today.

i've watched life...happen.

i got to be in my favourite musical!

i did...this once. hahahahahahahahaha

i have had corrective surgery that changed my life.

i won 1st place at being an old lady my freshman year.

my first big-kid job was somewhere awesome.

i learned how to dance.

i met this guy.

i did this!

i've faced my fears.

i've biked from stansbury to grantsville...and that's a HUGE deal.

these two became like...the best thing of my life.

i've been paint balling!

this boy came...changed my life...and never left my side.
...kind of.

i got to be a princess.

twice.

and mostly...i'm running out of steam now...and it's four thirty in the morning...(WHEN DID THAT HAPPEN!?)

really what i was TRYING to get at this whole time, is that actually the majority of the really awesome stuff that i've ever done in my whole entire short life, has happened in this past year. even though all of this rad stuff happened previous to that, there was so much jam-packed into these past 12 months. what an incredible year of growth, and change, and self-discoveries.

i can't wait to see what this next year brings.

memory lane.
